Kelly Colman, founder of New CID Cosmetics, is one of the decade’s most talked about women. Entrepeneur, business woman and mother, Kelly’s journey is an inspiration to any budding tycoon.

After having spent over a decade as founder and creator of these multi award winning products, Kelly is ready for her new challenge. Bringing a fresh and new concept together with all of the contacts she has built up over time. Taking advantage of today’s consumer’s needs, speed to market products, focusing heavily on online and influencer led sales in today’s fast paced environment. Kelly says “The market is always changing & the customers are not as brand loyal anymore. They have so much choice and we need to ensure we stay relevant else we die.”

The story began when Kelly, a former model and dancer, founded dance agency, Kelly’s Kind at the age of 23. In early 2002, with a joint passion with her husband for photography and an understanding of how much a great haircut could transform someone from ordinary to extraordinary, the idea of a make-over company with a modern edge was born and the first studio opened in London’s West End.

It was the first of its kind studio offering everyday people the opportunity to have their hair, make-up and styling attended to by experts, followed by a photographic session using fully digital technology. “The concept is simple. Every woman wants to feel glamorous and look a million dollars, and not only do we make that happen but we give them a portfolio of images to cherish forever,” says Kelly

Out of the studios, after researching the demands of the modern woman’s need for a make-up brand, in 2006 New CID Cosmetics was unleashed to the world. Offering innovative, revolutionary products that give maximum results in minimum time, it wasn’t long before the national press were dedicating column inches to this fresh new brand.

This demand, along with celebrity followers, created a recipe for success that has seen the range grow according to the demands of the modern woman. “Because we are making-over thousands of women every year, we are in a unique position to understand exactly what products they want,” adds Kelly. New CID cosmetics remains as a multi award winning brand and it is from here with her wealth of knowledge and expertise, Kelly is ready to embark on her latest project.
